IFCU is launching a call for initiatives to collect examples of "good practices" implemented within member universities in order to continue to keep their institutions alive, even outside the walls. The Federation is also currently creating a "Global health, health security and resilience" network.

The International Federation of Catholic Universities just launched a project called "E-Learning Training Project for Teachers of Catholic Universities"
Faced with the current COVID-19 crisis that affects all universities in the world, forcing them to close their doors and ensure virtual continuity of education, IFCU wished to mobilize to help its members, and their teacher and student communities. Indeed, many Catholic universities try to face this situation with their own often-limited means, by asking their teaching teams to transform their courses (face-to-face) into online courses or conferences but few of them are prepared for it.

Consequently, IFCU is organizing training modules intended for teachers of Catholic universities in order to give them the necessary tools and knowledge in terms of e-learning so that they can familiarize themselves with this different pedagogy and ensure pedagogical continuity during this difficult period.

Commitment

In a spirit of sharing and mutual help, IFCU is launching a call for initiatives to collect examples of "good practices" implemented within member universities in order to continue to keep their institutions alive, even outside the walls. Through this call, IFCU hopes to help communicate some of the actions undertaken by its universities, which sometimes prove to be remarkable and can be a source of inspiration for many others. Again, in this spirit of sharing, IFCU will circulate all the information possible coming from the coalition to its Network and beyond. IFCU is currently creating a "Global health, health security and resilience" network, which benefits from and is in line with the work undertaken over the past two years, including actions conducted by its international working group on "Health issues”.
