Supporting and empowering educators

ProFuturo’s digital learning platform offers for free more than 160 courses and 2,800 hours of training in different languages (Spanish, English, French and Portuguese).

The training resources provided by ProFuturo enhance the development of innovation and ICT knowledge, pedagogical and teaching skills, and the digital competence of teachers. Courses on neurodidactics and computational thinking are only available in Spanish.

We also provide teachers with educational resources and tools to prepare their lessons from home, recommending activities for their students and supporting them in carrying out distance learning.

Furthermore we are adapting our content and tools, to reach the most vulnerable, the unconnected: videos to be shared, offline app with training contents, printed teachers guides and workbooks, podcast and radio recordings, etc.

Commitment

Ensure the continuity of learning in the countries where we work in Latin America, Africa, Middle East and Asia through:

(1) Free digital resources for all. Opening the digital resources to connected teachers, families, children and institutions (160 online courses and 2,800 hours of digital resources for teachers in 4 languages: Spanish, English, French and Portuguese- focused on the development of teachers’ skills and digital competences; and 1,662 digital resources for children to develop their 21st century competences);

(2) Analysing and implementing new alternatives for the unconnected. Adapting materials and creating new content for teachers, such as scorms for any device; offline app; radio and potcasts; printed workbooks and pdfs, slides and videos; and for students, such as videos;

(3) Strengthening training to local partners. Reinforcing distance training through virtual tools with our local implementing partners to: reinforce internal tools training and the use of digital available resources (meet, teams, whatsapp, etc..), becoming virtual tutors, help MOEs to do Curricula Matching, develop new digital and no digital materials, reinforce learning communities between teachers and coaches.
