Connectivity
Close digital divides and enhance connectivity for education

In the NetEdu project we can support the UNESCO flagship of closing digital divides and enhance connectivity by the development of tools that support key stackeholders to understand and weave their local or national learning ecosystem. These tools can be targeted to policymakers and decisionmakers in order to map and strengthen the broader ecosystem, or can be addressed to educational leaders to better weave local ecosystems and ensure the learning and wellbeing of all students in our schools and communities. In order to ensure the comprehensive vision and action of the whole ecosystem we need proper tools that support professionals to take action.

Commitment

The NetEduProject is an international research-practice partnership that gathers worldwide researchers and leaders in the wide ecosystem with around 30 universities involved, around 10 school networks, 20 leading educational organizations, and more than 15 administrations and policy makers, impacting in more than 18 countries at the moment. The NetEduProject is linked to Blanquerna (Ramon Llull University in Bareclona, Spain). The NetEdu community is committed to support the growth and development of learning ecosystems in local contexts and also collaborating across borders to learn from one another and increase impact. The collective purpose of the NetEduPrject is to weave the transition from standardized Educational Systems to human and caring Ecosystems that enhance Learning, Well-being and Equity.
We have experience on the devlopment of research practice tools that supports change. One of the ongoing NetEdu tools as an example is the development of a research-based, free, online and glocal tool: the ScloolWeavers Tool, targeting school leaders and school communities, aiming to start a collective transformative process of the whole school community where caring relationships ground the change efforts, and allowing school actors to better connect with the larger learning ecosystem, expanding learning opportunities for all.
