Supporting and empowering educators

We can build and strengthen university teachers’ capacities to incorporate distance education into their daily teaching in order to facilitate students’ learning, adapting to the challenges of teaching and learning at a distance, thus providing interaction during periods of universities closure, and to bring learning processes and their outcomes closer to learners’ needs.
Concurrently, we address policy and strategies development in the Mediterranean to make digital education a key regional policy priority, and to maximise the benefits of open and distance learning to increase the access, quality and equity of Higher Education in the region, and fostering the social responsibility of universities and their shared values of freedom, democracy, social justice and solidarity.
