NORCAP supports international, regional and local organisations, as well as ministries of education, through deployment of education experts. They contribute by providing expertise, strengthen professional development of teachers and build a resilient system in times of crisis. The latter, linked closely with protection. Through this, we help empower teachers across the world and build a sustainable response to education.

NORCAP is NRC's global provider of expertise and is responding to the Covid-19 crisis by strengthening the humanitarian response capacity at global, regional and national levels. In partnership with international organisations and national authorities, NORCAP will strengthen the response, for instance by improving coordination, and through ongoing deployments in country locations, by deploying education experts, providing remote support or recruiting experts to work in their own local context.
Moreover, NORCAP is committed to strengthen community of practice through participation in global fora on education - sharing best practices and providing technical expertise.
