This session will also present the "Global Learning House", a collective effort to be designed and implemented among Global Education Coalition members to reach out to 1 million learners in STE(A)M disciplines at different levels of education by March 2021. The geographical focus will consider places with high drop-out rates, focusing on the most disadvantaged learners, including girls, boys, migrants, refugees and other marginalized children and young people. The approach is to ensure remedial learning, tutoring, free access and support to remote learning resources in several languages, and using different technologies, high-low-no tech.
This year's Mobile Learning Week will be held online, from 12 to 14 October 2020, under the theme of "Beyond Disruption: Technology Enabled Learning Futures". The event is set against the backdrop of COVID-19 education disruption and response and will shine a light on prospects for technology-enabled futures of learning. As you might know already, Mobile Learning Week is the United Nations’ flagship event on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education and has been organized by UNESCO and its partners for eight years consecutively.
Looking forward to seeing you there on Tuesday, 13 October!(MLW Agenda Day 2)
